Norwegian Wild Reindeer Pavilion

Located in Dovrefjell National Park, the Snøhetta-designed Norwegian Wild Reindeer Pavilion uses a stark design to frame the surrounding landscape. Its rectangular form is in direct contrast with the curved wooden seating area that serves as a perfect spot to sit a take in the views of the Dovrefjell mountain range, Europe's last remaining wild reindeer herds, and other rare animals visible through the floor-to-ceiling windows. A spaceship-like floating fireplace provides warmth, a feature greatly appreciated after the mile-long hike to get there.
